I’m Anna.
I grew up in the UK and moved to Australia as a teenager. I come from a family of migrants and we’re spread all over the world. As a child, I’d spend every summer in South Africa, eating mangoes and running around barefoot in my grandparents’ house.
I’ve always loved drawing, painting and creating, but I chose to devote my career to storytelling. I’ve worked as a journalist across a range of areas, including digital, radio, TV and social media.
In my downtime, I like to cook, read, draw and bother my cat, Marvin.
My style.
I can work in a diverse range of styles and aesthetics, depending on the project. However, all my work is character- and story-driven. I aim to capture a feeling with each image I create; every detail is carefully considered in the context of each story or brief. As a journalist, I value editorial rigour, so my images always draw from real life. If I’m representing a person and their story, I want to do them justice.
